This was one of my most favorite birthdays-even though we weren't together. We officially decided to start dating on this date. Not to be pedantic, but we spoke on phone for like 2 hours-maybe more. I remember both our monthly bundles depleted on this day

We started with excitement, late-night talks, and the thrill of discovering stuff about each other. Everything felt new, kind of effortless, and full of promise. That was the beginning of us.

Here there was Real effort. We fought a lot and laughed a lot too. You taught me some stuff I didn't know here too.

2nd Anniversary
Here I was very calm and comfortable with you. I learned to stop being skittish when around you. You helped killed my anxiety too. This is something I've never told you.

Our relationship feels steadier now. There’s still that flutter—just quieter. Three years in, and I still get that nervous little feeling when I see you after a while. Or when I do something, you don't approve of, lol. But now all this comes paired with trust, comfort, and the best feeling ever- knowing you're my home.

Lately I've been getting very philosophical. This makes me question a lot of stuff. But If I have one certainty in this life, it’s the way my heart recognizes yours.

I don't believe in destiny. I never have. It's a stupid word for coincidence. But I do believe in love, and that two people are better suited for each other than they are with other people. And I honestly think that's us. We're great together.

Sometimes it scares me how I got so deeply attached to you. I fail to function sometimes when you're not around. It made me think a lot of what would happen once I went to Stanford. But that changed now that you too might be coming there!!
